Who looks after you

At Óptica Herradores, you are looked after by qualified, registered hearing aid specialists and a team of optometrists with over 30 years of experience. Hearing tests are carried out by a hearing aid specialist on our staff. Refraction is performed by a qualified optometrist using Zeiss and Topcon equipment.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to buy the hearing aids before knowing which progressive lenses I will get?
No. We carry out hearing tests and visual refraction at the same appointment. We confirm in writing which progressive lenses are included before you sign the quotation.
Does the offer apply to any Phonak hearing aid?
Within the Phonak Infinio range: Sphere, R, Virto and CROS. It does not apply to Lumity, Paradise or earlier ranges. If you have Lumity and want to upgrade to Infinio, you can also use the offer.
Can I choose any frame?
Yes, with no restrictions on brand or price within our in-store catalogue.
What if I already wear progressive glasses?
We include an update to your new prescription. You can choose a new frame or reuse yours if it is in good optical condition.
Is the offer compatible with public healthcare or mutual insurance benefits?
Compatibility depends on the requirements of each benefit and the organisation responsible for it. Check with your health service or mutual insurer before purchasing; we can guide you on the documentation at your appointment.
How long does the whole process take?
The first appointment lasts 75–90 minutes (hearing tests and refraction). Hearing aids are ready in 5–7 working days. The second appointment, for delivery and fitting, lasts 60 minutes.
Why are appointments only available in the morning?
Our hearing aid specialist is available in person only in the morning (9:30–13:30). Fitting requires their presence.
Is there a trial period?
Yes, a 30-day adaptation period. If you are not comfortable, return them at no cost for a full refund.
I live on another island. Can I use the offer?
Yes. Audiology care takes place in La Laguna. If you are travelling from another island, contact us before your trip. We coordinate appointments according to your assessment and the adjustments needed.
