Size Guide
Choosing the right size
Choosing the right glasses size is essential for your comfort and style. Here we explain how to find the perfect measurements for you.
Where do I find my glasses measurements?
Glasses measurements are printed on the inside of the temple arm. You'll typically see three numbers separated by dashes, for example: 52-18-140.
- First number (52): Lens width in millimeters.
- Second number (18): Bridge width in millimeters.
- Third number (140): Temple length in millimeters.
Lens width
This is the horizontal measurement of each lens. It typically ranges from 40 mm to 62 mm. A larger lens width provides more visual coverage.
Bridge width
This is the distance between both lenses, where the frame rests on your nose. Common values: between 14 mm and 24 mm. If the bridge is too narrow, the glasses will pinch; if too wide, they'll slide.
Temple length
This is the length of the side arms that extend behind your ears. The most common values are 135, 140, and 145 mm.
Total frame width
Another useful measurement is the total width of the front of the frame. As a reference:
- Narrow: less than 129 mm
- Medium: 130–139 mm
- Wide: more than 140 mm
You can measure the width of your current glasses by placing them on a ruler and measuring from end to end across the front.
Tips for choosing the right size
- If you already have glasses that fit well, use their measurements as a reference.
- The lenses should fully cover your eyes without extending beyond the sides.
- The bridge should rest comfortably on your nose without pressing or sliding.
- The temples should reach behind your ears without squeezing.
